Tanish Dave Games ("we", "us") makes Crowdify 3D (the "Game"), a free game for Android. This policy explains what information is involved when you play, who handles it, and what you can do about it.
The short version: there are no accounts, no purchases and no server of ours that receives your gameplay. Your progress is saved on your phone. The Game shows ads from Unity Ads, and Unity collects some device information to show and measure those ads.
1. What stays on your phone
The Game saves a few things in the app's private storage on your device so it can remember where you are:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your best score and the highest level you've beaten | To show your best and let you continue or replay levels |
| Your token balance, and which crowd colors and path themes you've unlocked and picked | For the shop |
| Your sound, volume and vibration settings | To remember your preferences |
| A crash report, only if the app crashes: the app version, Android version, device make and model, WebView version and technical details of the error | Shown to you once the next time you open the Game, then deleted |
We never receive any of this. A crash report only leaves your phone if you tap Share on the crash screen and choose where to send it.
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the Game's saved data in your device backup and in phone-to-phone transfers, so your progress can come with you to a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your account settings, not by us.
2. Ads (Unity Ads)
The Game is free because it shows ads. They come from Unity Ads, run by Unity Technologies. There are three kinds:
- a banner at the top of the screen,
- a full-screen ad between levels, after every two levels you play,
- optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch in the shop for 10 tokens.
To show ads, measure them and prevent ad fraud, Unity Ads may collect:
- your device's advertising ID,
- device information such as make, model, operating system and version, language, screen size and network type,
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location (such as your country or city),
- information about the app, and about the ads you see and interact with (for example, whether an ad was shown, clicked or watched to the end).
Unity handles this information under its own privacy policy, the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Depending on your device settings and where you live, Unity may use it to show you personalized ads. We don't control Unity's data practices.
We only see totals from Unity, such as how many ads were shown. These don't identify you.
The Game doesn't include any analytics, crash-reporting or payment services. The only outside service in the Game is Unity Ads.
The ad log
While the app is open, it keeps a short list of ad events (for example "ad loaded" or "ad failed to load") so we can fix ad problems. It is kept in memory only, never saved, and cleared when the app closes. It only leaves your phone if you press and hold the settings button and choose to share it.
3. App permissions
- Internet and network state: to load ads. The Game itself plays fine offline.
- Vibration: for the buzz you feel on gates, hits and boss fights. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Advertising ID and Android ad services: added by the Unity Ads SDK so it can show and measure ads.
The Game doesn't ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
4. How it's used
- To run the Game and remember your progress and settings, on your device.
- To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent ad fraud, through Unity Ads.
- To fix problems, if you choose to send us a crash report or ad log.
- To reply when you contact us.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't collect gameplay statistics.
5. Sharing
Advertising information is collected directly by Unity Technologies, as described above, and Unity may share it with its advertising partners as its policy explains. We don't share anything else, except when the law requires it. If you email us, or send us a crash report or ad log, we only use it to help you and fix the problem.
6. How long it's kept
- Data saved on your phone stays there until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the Game.
- A crash report is deleted after it has been shown to you once. The ad log is cleared when the app closes.
- Emails you send us are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your request.
- Unity keeps advertising data according to its own policy.
7. Your choices
- Limit personalized ads: on Android 12 or newer, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads and delete your advertising ID. On older versions, go to Settings → Google → Ads to opt out of ad personalization or reset your advertising ID. Menu names can differ between phones.
- Ask Unity about ad data: use the options in Unity's privacy policy to access or delete information Unity holds.
- Delete your game data: clear the app's storage or uninstall the Game. Our data deletion page walks you through it.
- Your legal rights: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to how it's used. Because we don't hold gameplay data about you, most requests are about ad data held by Unity, but you can always contact us and we'll help.
8. Children
Crowdify 3D isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game has no accounts, no chat and no way to contact other players.
If you're a parent or guardian and think your child's information was collected through the Game's ads, contact us and we'll help. You can also delete or reset the advertising ID on the device, as described above.
9. Security
The Game's saved data is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps can't read. No way of storing information is perfectly secure, but we keep what the Game stores to the minimum it needs.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a future version of the Game adds another outside service (such as analytics, a different ad network or in-app purchases), we'll update this policy before that version is released.
